Caledon mayor Annette Groves took to social media to applaud town staff for their hard work following the recent ice storm in the area.
“Following the storm this past week, our team has been working around the clock to respond to the impacts. We appreciate your patience during what I know is a stressful time.”
She added the Caledon Fire Service has handled a high volume of power-related emergencies and has been supporting the most vulnerable residents.
“Public works, roads and parks teams are assisting Hydro One with tree removals, clearing debris, and working with the OPP on road closures. I also want to thank everyone who came together to support our community when we needed it most.”
