Caledon is looking for local artists and performers for the town’s 2025 Culture Days Festival and town officials said it is shaping up to be bigger than ever.
The event, which runs from Sept. 19 to Oct. 12, will highlight Caledon’s talent and culture.
“We are proud to celebrate the incredible talent, heritage, and creativity that exists right here in Caledon,” Mayor Annette Groves said in a news release.
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts, culture, and heritage featuring three weeks of free, hands-on, behind-the-scenes experiences with local creators.
The town is currently seeking local performers, artists, workshop leaders, and organizations to host participatory events that will shine the spotlight on Caledon’s creativity and cultural vibrancy.
Flagship events in this year’s festival include the Caledon Creative Arts Festival, Caledon CultureFest and the Caledon Studio Tour.
“Our community’s diversity and cultural spirit are part of what makes Caledon such a vibrant and livable place,” added Groves. “Supporting Culture Days not only gives artists and creators the platform they deserve—it also brings us together, strengthens connections, and enhances our sense of community living and belonging.”
Applications are currently open until June 6 at www.Caledon.ca/CultureDays.
Applicants must submit an event or activity proposal for consideration. Successful proposals may be eligible to receive up to $400 in partnership funding to bring the idea to life.
