An Orangeville resident faces nine criminal charges following a call for help from a member of the public.
Dufferin OPP were dispatched on Monday, just before 9 p.m., to the area of Broadway in the town, where officers were informed a suspect had left the scene in a vehicle.
Police said they located the accused male, age 37, shortly after and determined he was impaired.
Charges include being unlawfully in a dwelling, criminal harassment, impaired driving, resisting arrest, driving while under suspension and driving with liquor readily available.
The accused is being held in custody pending the outcome of a bail hearing. Police added he was also wanted by the Grey County OPP on an unrelated matter.
