A new patient donation program aims to recognize staff at the Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville while at the same time supporting hospital needs.
“The Headwaters Health Care Foundation is excited to launch the Grateful Patient Program, the Heart of Headwaters which provides a meaningful way to express appreciation for the care and services provided by staff, doctors and volunteers,” said a news release from the organization.
According to the foundation, donations made through the Heart of Headwaters will go toward ongoing equipment purchases and supporting the hospital’s highest priority needs.
Patients or their family members can donate through an online platform or in person. Each donation will be acknowledged with a personalized tribute card sent to the honoree. Additionally, the honoree will receive a Heart of Headwaters lapel pin which they can wear on their lanyard or scrubs.
Headwaters CEO K.C. Carruthers said the program strengthens the bond between the hospital and community.
“Every donation makes a significant difference in the quality of care we provide to our neighbours and loved ones.”
