Members of the Caledon OPP have laid charges against a second person in connection to last Thursday’s home invasion investigation.
In the early hours of Jan. 2, police were called to a home on Ann McKee Street in Caledon East. A 26-year-old Caledon man was arrested the same day and now a 25-year-old male from Caledon faces charges of unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, possession of a prohibited device or ammunition and tampering with the serial number on a firearm.
Police seized a handgun, ammunition, and a stolen Porsche after executing a search warrant.
Both accused are being held in custody as they wait for a bail hearing in an Orangeville courtroom.
