Provincial police in Caledon have arrested one person in connection with what they are calling a home invasion.
Just after 5 a.m. this morning, officers were dispatched to a home on Ann McKee Street in Caledon East for a report of an invasion in progress. Officers attended and later arrested a suspect who remains in police custody.
The suspect was operating a black Jeep Wrangler (see attached photograph). Investigators are looking for surveillance or dashcam footage of the area on Jan. 2 between the hours of 5:15 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Police say the incident is believed to be targeted and that there is no imminent threat to public safety
