Officers from the Caledon OPP have made after investigating weapon-related incidents.
On the morning of Dec. 17, officers responded to a report of a shooting from a vehicle at a residence on Jamestown Court. No injuries were reported.
During the investigation, police received information about a separate incident the day before in Brampton. As a result, a 36-year-old Brampton man was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with aggravated assault, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, forcible confinement and failing to comply with a release order.
The accused is held in custody pending a bail hearing in Orangeville.
