Caledon Community Services (CCS) is launching its annual Season of Hope campaign with a generous match from Mars Canada. Every dollar donated between now and Dec. 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.
“Mars Canada is proud to partner in the Season of Hope campaign once again this year, addressing food insecurity in our community. Guided by our Purpose, ‘Tomorrow Starts Today,’ we are dedicated to creating meaningful impact in the communities where we live and operate,” explained Tamar Nersesian, Director of Corporate Affairs. “Together, with Caledon Community Services, we’re bringing hope and transforming lives in Caledon,” she added.
“Thanks to Mars Canada’s incredible support and our generous community, we can bring warmth, food, and hope to more families in their time of need,” said Geraldine Aguiar, CEO of CCS. She added the town’s Exchange Food Bank usage is at an all-time high, supporting more than 1,300 people and welcoming new families daily.
“The food insecurity crisis is real in Caledon. It’s not going away. It will take an intentional collective effort to provide urgent relief. Your kindness goes beyond filling the plates. Thanks to Mars Canada, we can bring hope into more homes struggling this season and beyond. Together, we can ensure no one in Caledon goes to bed hungry.”
Gifts to Season of Hope provides nutritious meals, helps with utility payments and helps those in need find the path to health and independence.
