Suspect Facing Charges After Gas Station Robbery in Caledon

Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have made an arrest in relation to a robbery that occurred at a gas station in the Town of Caledon.

On Monday, September 6, 2021, at approximately 4 p.m., officers from the Caledon OPP Detachment responded to a robbery at a gas station located on Highway 10, where a quantity of liquor was stolen by an unknown suspect. The suspect had fled the scene, however, was located and arrested by the responding officers.

As a result of the investigation, Parampal SINGH, 24, of Brampton, has been charged with:

– Robbery

– Uttering threats

– Obstruct peace officer

The accused was held for a bail hearing and is expected to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on a later date.
